Cecile Wesley
Registered Nurse
Hello everyone! My name is Cecille Wesley. I commenced my employment with Mushkegowuk Health in September 2022 as one of the nurses in the Primary Care program. A little of my background, I have over 30 years of nursing experience having worked in various departments in the hospital setting, community health and home care settings.

My roots are from Moose Factory and I am a member of the Chapleau Cree First Nation. I call Timmins home having resided here for the past 14 years with my husband. I have two sons and Im also the proud grandmother of two grand daughters. As part of professional development, I was given the opportunity to receive certification as a Birth Doula so that birth support can be offered to prenatals and postpartums in the Muskegowuk communities. I also completed a course in Trauma Informed care to enhance my skills in Mental Wellness and a certificate course in Advanced Diabetes Footcare in preparation for Footcare clinics to be held. I look forward to working with the other team members in the Primary care program and with the community members in the Mushkegowuk communities.

On a personal level, I enjoy travelling, attending Pow Wows, reading, taking walks and Netflix.
Meegwetch!
