Amanda Hanemaayer

Hello! My name is Amanda Hanemaayer. I joined Mushkegowuk OMA in July 2023 as the Health Promoter. My role is focused on empowering clients and their communities to take control over, and to improve, their health. 

I completed my Master of Public Health degree at the University of Guelph in 2020. Prior to joining the team at Mushkegowuk, I worked alongside UNODC in Vienna and Bruyère Research Institute in Ottawa to promote more accessible health and social services for people experiencing homelessness and addictions. I am passionate about health equity and working towards an environment where health is accessible to everyone. 

In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, being outdoors, and learning something new through a good book or podcast.
