Rose Iserhoff

Wacheyay! My name is Rose Iserhoff. I am a registered Social Worker and I have been in the social work field for several years. I have been hired by Mushkegowuk Health Okimawiwin Minopimatisiwinik Atoskawikmik (OMA) as the Traditional Healer Counsellor. I am a member of Fort Albany First Nation and I reside in Timmins. The reason I chose this career path is because I am passionate in the work I do and specifically to assist our First Nations people.

I am also a certified Trauma Informed Care Worker, Therapeutic Worker and possess the qualified skills to work with those who experienced trauma and the impacts from Indian Residential School. It’s an honour to walk alongside with the individuals on their journey and help improve their overall being by providing healthy coping skills that will help them move closer to the path of healing by providing a safe space and a comfortable environment.

I am available for appointments in Timmins through NIHB Travel. 10 days notice is needed for NIHB travel to be covered.
